Dimonoff announced that Vice President Daniel Noiseux would speak at the Smart City Lighting Summit 2021, an online conference held on August 25, 2021. His presentation, titled “Enlightening a City’s Future,” examined how Dimonoff approaches comprehensive city lighting initiatives, with a particular focus on mesh networking technology for IoT communications.
The talk drew on Dimonoff’s experience with two of the world’s five largest street lighting deployments, giving attendees insight into deploying a centralized lighting platform across a city and the operational benefits that follow, from streamlined maintenance to more granular energy management.
The virtual summit covered the technological, business, and policy dimensions of the smart city market over a full day, featuring more than eight hours of content and participation from over 60 companies from around the world.
