The network should tell you, not a complaint.

Dimonoff turns a lighting network into an asset monitoring layer, so a failure raises an alarm and a work order instead of waiting for a citizen call.

What the week actually looks like

I want to know a piece of equipment is going to fail before it fails.
  • We find out when someone complains

A lamp fails and the first report comes from the public. A crew is dispatched to confirm the fault, then a second time to fix it.

  • No reliable view of asset condition

The inventory is partly on paper. Nothing says which units are degrading, so interventions get planned by district rather than by need.

  • Wider network, same headcount

The network keeps growing and runs around the clock. The budget and the crew do not. Every avoided trip is time returned to critical assets.

Montréal: 132,500 nodes on one operations platform

Montréal administers controllers from more than one manufacturer on a single Dimonoff platform, and reports 35 percent less energy and 55 percent less maintenance.

Montréal, Canada

Montréal converted its entire street lighting network to LED and connected every fixture to one management platform, across 19 boroughs and three different controller vendors.

The three questions this team always asks

Technical

Can a fault alarm open a work order in our CMMS?

Yes. The system raises an automatic alarm on a failed lamp, a power fault or a loss of connectivity. Through the bidirectional REST API, that alarm creates a work order directly in Oracle EAM, or in any other CMMS, with the asset identifier already attached.

Financial

How much field work does this actually remove?

Truck rolls drop by 30 to 40 percent, because the fault is identified before anyone leaves the garage. Montréal reports 55 percent lower maintenance cost and 35 percent lower energy. On a combined LED and controls project, typical payback is four to eight years.

Operational

What happens when the network link goes down?

Each node keeps its schedule locally and continues to operate. The mesh is self-forming and self-healing, so it routes around a failed node without intervention. Lighting therefore stays on schedule during an outage, which is what matters on a 24/7 network.

Bring us your outage log.

Send one month of failure reports and your current inventory. We will show which of those interventions the network would have flagged before the call.
