Dimonoff announced its participation in Smart City Expo Montreal, held March 25 to 27, 2015 at the Palais des congrès, where the company exhibited at booth 207. The presentation focused on Dimonoff’s street and roadway lighting metering and control solution, along with its broader asset management infrastructure for smart city sensors and actuators, and its compatibility with third-party applications such as workforce and fleet management systems.
The company described the underlying technical architecture as an RF mesh network connecting field nodes to gateways, with the Rogers Wireless Network linking those gateways to central servers and, in turn, to users through web access, allowing municipalities to collect and act on large volumes of operational data.
Dimonoff pointed to real-world deployments as evidence of impact, notably the City of Mississauga’s progression from an initial request for information to a full implementation. The company also emphasized complementary municipal benefits made possible by the platform, including improved emergency response coordination, evacuation planning, infrastructure monitoring, and integration with sensors across irrigation systems and electrical transformers.
