Dimonoff unveiled its C136-41 photocell roadway lighting control module, built around a new in-fixture power supply the company describes as truly universal. The device can operate at “any voltage between 100 and 527 Volts, 50 or 60Hz,” making it the widest voltage range available commercially at the time, with a 24Vdc option also offered for other setups.
The design brings two practical advantages. Its optimized circuit consumes less than 1 watt of power, a saving that adds up considerably when applied across the thousands of fixtures typical of a municipal lighting network running around the clock. At the same time, having a single device that works across different electrical systems worldwide simplifies installation and reduces the need for manufacturers, distributors, contractors, and end users to stock multiple voltage-specific variants.
Dimonoff showcased the new module at Lightfair International, held that week at the Javits Convention Center, booth #476. Founded in 2006 and headquartered in Quebec City, Dimonoff develops remote management systems for controlling and monitoring lighting fixtures and other municipal and commercial assets, offering end-to-end smart city solutions that include GIS software, rollout management tools, and hardware.
