Dimonoff announced its participation in the 7th Annual Intelligent Cities Summit, held October 24-25 at The Boulevard Club in Toronto. The event, which previously drew more than 90 speakers, 250 attendees, and delegates from over 10 international cities and organizations, brings together key stakeholders in the smart city ecosystem. Dimonoff exhibited its IoT-based smart lighting and smart parking technology for municipalities pursuing sustainable urban development.
Jostran Lamontagne, Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Dimonoff, moderated a panel discussion titled “Defining Intelligent Cities vs. Intelligent Growth” alongside Jake Rudolph, former CAO of the City of Nanaimo, and Hamish Goodwin, Manager of the Smart City Team for the City of Toronto. The panel explored differing definitions of intelligent cities and the foundational concepts behind standardizing the term.
